For the 24, 37 and 55 can you do 2 operations at once - curl and raise or lower? Both of my brothers have a NH Boomer. One has a NH loader with the controls on the fender the other has an aftermarket loader that was added later and the controls for it are mounted like the one for the RK 24 - beside the steering wheel. The crazy thing is the aftermarket loader can perform 2 functions at once while the NH loader cannot. Is that due to one being cable operated and the other being mounted directly to the valve body?

Yes you can run both functions at once.

I believe on my 37 that if I'm lifting thwe try to dump the bucket that the lifting stops. But I'm going to try tomorrow.........

I tested the 55 at the store and you can't operate them together. One will stop before the other begins.

My 55 will do both at the same time. But you need to have the throttle up a ways so there's enough flow. Are you guys who can't get it to lift and curl at the same time running near idle or are you trying at higher RPMs as well?

Turn up the RPMs. The RK55 does allow both functions at once, at least mine does.

Hmm, ok, I could be wrong, I didn't try at high RPM,s

Being able to operate both functions at once is dependent on three things...
1. Sufficient hydraulic flow.
2. The loader valve itself.
3. Operator skill.

On my RK24, I can do both at once, if the RPMs are up, but not as well as I'd like. Some loader valves have an internal design that better allows this than others. I may, at some point, look into doing some research and getting a different valve. But for now I'm content to alternate between functions if my RPMs are low.

When I purchased my John Deere 440 loader, they used the “Blended Loader Valve” as a selling point. There seems to be a noticeable in-between direction (at 45 degrees), that gives the dual function. It works smoothly at any RPM.
