We have to many cold, fast and silty rivers to even need a backhoe or excavator. If the fishes don't eat you, the bears will. Nature works!

My point is. If you have nothing, you have nothing to loose. If you have a lot of money, you can fight. If you are moderately wealthy, the system will drain you. Like some kind of leach. It doesn't even seem to matter if you are innocent or guilty.

You may not have it there. But here, There is insurance that one can purchase for this reason. Legal fees will be covered.
I have a couple friends that have had to use this insurance. If they hadn't had it, it would have broken them financially

This is why having a castle doctrine is so important. How in the world can someone safely decide in a split second if someone will do you harm or not in the middle of the night when you just woke from a sleep. A castle doctrine simply says if they broke in you can and should automatically assume they are there to do you harm. I don稚 know how much people actually understand timing in attack but even the precious second you might have being wasted trying to decide could prove deadly for you. So not hav8ng to decide is the safest for any homeowner and puts the responsibility where it belongs on the dumb **** who broke in.

Well I for one don't really care about what anyone would think in a courtroom or anywhere else after put a 30-30 round into someone that breaks into my house, kills my German Shepherd (because that's the only way they are going to get to me) and threatens the lives of my wife and I in my home..

If the situation ever happened you are not going think of what 'might' happen when it's done..

We went from someone stealing things out of an unlocked vehicle to a home invasion, big difference, if they break into my well locked vehicle or shop, there isn't much I can do.. I wouldn't even send the Shepherd after them, I would be afraid they would hurt him, for what? a couple of wrenches.. I would report it, maybe throw up a camera or two and that's about it..

When I'm out and about you can bet I'm carrying and have done so for 30 years. I have spent thousands of dollars in firearms and extensive defensive training at the Sig academy in NH and a local well known state police instructor here in Maine, I have learned about every way possible to leave a potential problem without using force and I advise anyone that hasn't already done so that carry's a firearm to find a place that specializes in defensive training.. I thought I knew exactly what I should do in a certain situation and I didn't.. It isn't cheap but if someone is going to carry a firearm it's money well spent..

The inbetween of those laws is what makes you so vulnerable to a lawsuit. The castle doctrine spells out the specifics and takes the guess work out of which way the system will look at what happened. It also spells out that the perpetrator gave up any right to sue the moment they broke in.

I wish we had that, but at least we have what we have.

I really can't ! Someone climbed my fence, walked 350ft, in total darkness (between 11:00pm - 5:30 am) got into my vehicle this past sat night.
I usually leave my vehicles unlocked because I have fence around my property and gated drive.

I can't believe they would risk their life for no more than they took

They only took. a bottle of zantac and a phone charger.

left behind about 25 556 rounds, a small bag with various tools, a pack of C batteries, a roll of copper tubing, and about $3.00 of change in the cup holder.

What they left behind was worth more than what they took.

for what ever reason, they left a descent knife in the driver seat.

I now have installed cameras around the house. When /if they return, I will get an alert in the home/ on my phone.

As Mr. T use to say..... ''I pity the fool" that I catch on my property uninvited

METH knows no boundary's and has no minimums. They will steal the copper out of your extension cord and spend hours doing it. Shame, but... :confused2:

That's true and it's gonna get worse, lots of people on drugs and can't afford them..

What is the coverage called and I wonder how good of representation you would get?

Sons in a custody battle over meth right at the moment. His baby momma is the one on meth with her mom as an enabler. We are waiting on a ruling at the moment. Chewing nails and praying that we get a positive outcome.

It's really difficult not saying what you think to the momma or grandma due to an active case. Especially when all you want to do is throat punch the two of them when you see them.
