I try valiantly to sequester things in various centralized spots so looking can be a short as possible.

Yes. One primary key to organization!

That leaves me out. I bought a cheap drone and launched it. When last seen it was charging down the road beside my house like a bat out of the hot place.

I just had a revelation of sorts. I've always wonder why when hearing about drones being shot down.

Hey guys, still alive, mostly!

I was real bad sick first few months of the year. Took alot out of me. I got behind on lots of chores..lots and lotsa chores.
December I had gotten my first in a bout of a string of upper respiratory infections. It was a driving factor in getting a new cab tractor with ac. Cut the dust I was breathing.

I was on steroids till a month ago. I have pretty much quit working on antiques, but do keep a 850 & 950 ford maintained as a spare loader and mower if needed.

Many of you know I'm in the sound business. After getting so far behind, I haven't been posting much, and I've finally been getting back to doing some concert touring. Just did a show with charo and then a few with Miami sound machine. Private engagements, etc.

A member called me wife told me about it so I figured I needed to get back on here and catch you guys up. I will get a text out to the member that called me once the sun comes up.

Thanks for checking on me guys. Beginning few months of the year were bad, then I played catchup. Hopefully good to go.. Just have to watch what I breathe! Gotta avoid the solvents, fumes, dust, etc!

I got real tired of taking antibiotics. By 3rd round they started pulling out needles. I ain't fond of needles!

The steroids weren't fun either. Oral and nasal. Made me sweat, hard to sleep too.

Still Kicking though.

No wind damage?

None and never has had any and it gets nasty here at times. Trick is to keep the covering real tight. Farm Teck provides ratchet straps for ever 8 feet of building length in both sides and the bottom of the cover has a hemmed in pocket that takes a galvanized pipe the entire length of the building so you pull on the pipe with the ratchet straps and that tensions the cover. You can thump it and it's like a drum.

I had my doubts when we first put it up (my wife and I did the whole thing with the help of the front end loader and a bit of cussing on my part because the arches have to be parallel end to end and 100 feet is a lot of distance but we got it done. I had a 'cover party and invited the guys where I worked (and retired from) over for free beer and burgers after the cover got put on. It took 8 men to pull the one piece cover over the trusses but once it was over the top center it went right on, put in the pipes, ratchet strapped it down and it's been untouched for the last 19 years. Very good investment. Like I said, was a little leery but that was unfounded. Best part is, here in Michigan, any structure without a footer / rat wall is considered a 'portable' building and isn't subject to real estate tax. Win Win for me.

I can put a loaded semi in it, plenty high (overhead door is a 14 footer), never freezes in the winter inside and we have a couple cats that live in it. Keeps the mice out of the tractor works.

FarmTek - Hydroponic Fodder Systems, Farming & Growing Supplies, Hoop Barns, Poultry & Livestock Equipment, High Tunnels, Greenhouses & More Not an advertisement at all, just a happy customer. I have a Clearspan Storage Master.

Like I said, the trick to a lasting cover in any of them, cheap or not is wrap every joint (where the cover will lay) with good quality duct tape and don't skimp. I think I used about 10 rolls in mine.
