Pulled trees for a few hours this weekend! Have around 28 hours on the tractor, and it did it’s first regen right at 25 hours yesterday. I’m just absolutely loving this tractor so far!

So did you do a stationary regen, or just keep working ?

I just kept working. Made a little different noise from the engine and smelled a little hotter, but didn’t lose any power or change anything.

How long until it was finished?

Thanks for the info !

One other small complaint I have is the PTO switch. In its current location when I am holding on to the handle on the fender my arm lays right across it and kicks it off once in awhile. In Kubota痴 defense your probably not supposed to be on a bank so steep that you are holding yourself in the seat with that handle.View attachment 618488

By the way: It is cheap and easy to add a secondary driver's grab handle on top of that fender -- higher and a little more forward where your arm would not rest downward on the PTO control. I certainly use those handles a LOT on both fenders.

If you have regular need to mow steep ground, why are you not moving the rear wheels out as far as they will go ? (Or have you already done that?)
I am NOT buying the claim by the dealer that Kubota prohibits moving the FRONT tires outward. That sounds totally bogus to me. Do they claim that is just that specific model?
In later posts, SO GLAD you are having a great experience and enjoying the new 7060. That tractor is a beautiful size match for so many universal needs around a farm or business. Plenty big enough to handle large implements, heavy enough to do serious FEL work, light and narrow enough to be practical to transport on normal people's trailers. Great choice.

I'm glad I got my MF2660 before the regen disease hit the industry. I am SO GLAD I never even have to think about it much less deal with it. It sounds like yours is (so far at least) not a pest even in the regen dept. No doubt all the mfrs , Kubota included, went to major battle stations making sure that problem did not kill their products.

I'll have to look into adding that additional handle, thanks for the info! I already have the rear wheels/tires as far as they will go. It actually states in the owners manual that the front wheels like mine should not be changed. I have no idea why. We see stupid stuff like that in the automotive industry all the time.

As long as you have the rear tires out as far as they will go, the front ones do not matter from a tip-over standpoint because the front axle is pivoted in the middle. Lining up with your bucket or a mower, etc. were plenty good enough reasons for you to move the front tires out wherever you wanted.

I moved them side to side and they matched the bucket and the rear tire width. If I have some sort of failure that Kubota deems because I did it, I'll just chalk it up as part of the experience.

I can barely recall some controversy over Kubota front axle failures and TBN arguments over whether it had anything to do with front wheel spacing, overloads using a FEL, etc. I remember thinking it was obscure and nothing I would ever worry about.
