I am looking at a 2002 Kabota L3010HST with 72" mid mount mower tractor has 1750hr in very good condition always stored indoors. How much should I pay. Guy is asking 8700.00 usd

How much should you pay? What do they go for where you live? Does it have FEL? If I could have made that purchase here last summer I probably would have snapped it up. Personally I don't think it's unreasonable at all but I don't live in New York.

With a Loader I would consider $8,700 a high value price in New York for a first iteration Kubota 'Grand L'.

The nearest equivalent in Kubota's product offering today is the L3301, which is not available with a mid-PTO but does have the advantage of an 'independent' rear PTO.

With loader I traded my 1300h (or so) L3410 with loader for 12k. That was after negotiation on the new machine, so I am sure the dealer planned on 14k reselling it.
The L3010 is slightly less HP, but even without a loader I would say $8700 is a good deal. Appearance is a plus, but that does not necessarily mean the machine is in good condition.
Also, pre emissions tractors are getting a premium price, and generally sell fast.
