I started a similar thread under General Owning/Operating but realized it is better suited for the Kubota forums, so please excuse the double post!

Recently I completed the 400 hour maintenance on my L3901 and it occurred to me that I was doing all the steps of the 50 hour, 100 hour, and 200 hour maintenance milestone as well. So I am in the process making a video for each of these milestones with the video I shot for the 400 hour maintenance. I am also going to release several standalone videos for tasks such as greasing, oil change, hydraulic oil change, and cleaning the water separator.

In addition to going step-by-step through the maintenance tasks, I explain what problems you might run into that your manual doesn't cover. I also tell you every tool you will need for each task, down to the correct wrench sizes.

You can download a list of tools and supplies needed from the companion page on the DIY My Way website:
Kubota L Series 5 Hour Maintenance – DIY My Way

Here is the 50 hour maintenance video:

I have also released standalone videos on Changing the Oil and Oil Filter and Greasing. You can find these in the Kubota L Series Maintenance Playlist.

I hope you find these helpful.

Thank you for going to all the trouble. As a new Kubota owner I REALLY appreciate it. There is a wealth of basic information in there.

Your welcome, Roadworthy! I made it first for my own use, but thought it would help fellow Kubota L series tractor owners out as well.

Thanks for your effort and posting. I've done the 50 and due for my 200 or a hair past due :) and this sort of inspires me to go forth and complete my 200 hour maintenance on my L3901. Plus my ZD1211 is due it's 50 and just completed the 50 on the RTV500 and done the RTV1140XT a few months ago way, way before it was due. Didn't check the actual hours and took Grandsons telling the hours.

Ah! Another L3901 owner! I’ve had mine a little over two years. How long have you had yours?

Lol, which one & which time? He's had more Kubotas than all the posters combined in a significant fraction of TBN threads. :p

I think about 2 years with 215 hours. Not sure but close to two. And yes, I've had/have a few but I believe, I said believe, I'm about settled in and will "probably" only visit Barlows for parts and soci:D:cool2:alizing, probably. I think it's less than 30, probably 29 is as close as I can get. But, in my defense my property ownership has changed a few times over the years with buying some additional property and selling my rental property and buying another 25 additional acres plus the 6 building lots across the street.
