Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!

An overcast 25ºF was today’s low temperature at 1:00AM.* It was 28ºF most of the early morning hours gradually warming to 32ºF when the precipitation first started as freezing-melting drizzle; presently it is 33ºF and drizzling; and I anticipate a rainy afternoon with high temperatures in the high 40ºF’s. We’ll see if I get that predicted 0.5” of snow later.* The precipitation started far earlier than I had anticipated. Luckily for me I switched out the rotary cutter for the*box blade on the tractor yesterday as well as cleared off the deck, set up the kindling crib, and bringing what was left from last year’s kindling supply indoors. *I am ready for snow; hopefully I will see enough snow to "manage" next week. I talked to the service center yesterday. This is going to be an expensive repair on the Tundra. All due to corrosion. The part replacement list is rather extensive Kind of reminds me of Toyota’s old jingle. A slight variation: I asked for it; I got it; Toyota. It looks like another movie matinee and early bird dinner today.

RNG, the diagonal measurements should give you more info on which way out of level the doors fit best if the doors are square.
Otherwise I see a lot of experimenting with the jack in your future.

Arthritis doc doubled up on my celebrex, back to two a day. Then he ordered a bunch of blood tests, so since he is on second floor of local hospital, down to first floor I went to Labs and was out of there in less than 20 minutes. Quick haircut and now back home. Of course worst part is ripping off the tape and yanking out a wad of arm hair.
I need to remember to ask for paper tape.

Freeze watch out, need to get a move on and drain last of water hoses, looks like Roy might be getting some snow soon.

RNG, I felt like I was getting hypnotized as I watched your laser vid. Plus your footsteps sounded pretty spooky in there. I have no idea what your data sheet shows, but good luck getting it leveled.

Oops, sorry. Each number is a measurement from the bottom of the door frame to the bottom of the laser stripe, so it indicates how far below that point on the door frame is below the level line.

It is kind of creepy in there, especially when you stop to think that there's no way to open the doors from the inside. No wonder so many illegal immigrants have died inside containers.

I used a carpenter's square on the worst end yesterday, and it appears as if both sides of the door frame are leaning toward the center. Not sure there's any way for me to correct that, except perhaps to use a porta power to stretch the top of the door frame? Or put a jack under the outer edge of the door and see if I can bend it up? More measurements are in my future...

Good Morning!!!! 64F @ 7:15AM. Sunshine to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High 78F. Winds light and variable.

I should be on the road by now, but I'm running late. As usual, internet reception will be spotty on this trip, so I probably won't check in again until Tuesday. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend, especially those already getting a dose of old man winter!

36°F and cloudy this morning, going all the way up to 39° today. Supposed to get up in the upper 50s over the weekend, then lows near 10° early next week. Winter is being impatient this year.

We only got the edge of the rain that wafted through last night, and no snow this morning.

Jasper! Named after the Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alberta, a lovely town in the Rocky mountains West of Edmonton. Not as nice as the famous Banff, Alberta where I used to go often as a kid living in Calgary, but still very nice.

In early June 1988 I traveled from prince Rupert east to Jasper, then south thru banff. Was with a friend driving from Juneau to Ohio. I still have a little tent I bought in Prince George. Absolutely beautiful country. Unfortunately we were making time, no time to stop. I would so love to go back.
