Outdoor Digital TV antenna and recording Programs

The internet is so they can track what you watch and target ads you see. It is extra money for the stations. Right now if you watch Hawaii Five O on something not connected to the internet no one knows, after this they will know how many and and area people watching from. It will be interesting to see what this brings.

another update on the dvr recorder. the one that i bought, on the weakest channel, cbs when recording on the dvr has a lot to stop and skips on playback. it is on channel 10 but that channel also sometimes breaks up, les while watching live than on playback. took awhile to figure all the features of dvr BUT MOMMA'S HAPPY!!!!!! YAHOO!!!!! hop she gets frisky tonight !!!!

update: the signal splitter on antenna and dvr works wonderful. my wife can now record one channel on the dvr and watch another. that is what she wanted to do. we can also record tv programs when we aren't here or when we're asleep. i am very satisfied with that inexpensive $40 dvr box. i would definitely get another one if need be and recommend the one i bought to anyone else!!!!!

I looked at that recorder that you referenced on Amazon,, It says you need to add storage for it to record,,
What did you use? I think if I get one,, I will use a SSD,, those seem to be the most reliable,,, :thumbsup:

Unless I need a 1Tb storage, or something,, then I guess I will get a regular spinning hard drive,,, :confused2:

Some units I have seen have a limitation on the external drive, my daughter bought one that refused to work with one of my 1tb drives, the fine print revealed it had a 8gb limit.
