Beheading is considered cruel and unusual punishment. There is a guy on death row at Walla Walla state pen that was convicted of murder (3 women at an Olympia bank around 1980). He ate himself out of being hung, because of his weight it was determined that there was a high probability that hanging him would probably pop his head off.

there's a lot of people that the justice system thought were guilty, only to find out that 20-40 years later, they were proven innocent!!.. also, in this case, the state claimed he was not declared dead by the coroner, so, he never died legally, even though he DID die!!..

The best one I heard recently was some utter scumbag that killed a couple by attaching them to the anchor of their boat, alive, and throwing them in a deep part of the Pacific. On death Row, the State (Can't remember which) granted him and paid for a SEX change operation. I don't even know that to say to something like that. Who really, is the enemy here?
