Seafoam is not a be-all-end-all, but it is a great tool to have available. It's worked for me several times, cleaning small engine carbs and smoothing out rough engines. There are times when nothing beats pulling the carb to thoroughly clean it or replace it, but a heavy dose of SF works many times. That saves me time and money. :thumbsup:

It really would help the environment if all fuel systems were clogged.

I use it and MMO from time to time, maybe every third or fourth tank, but I can't honestly say I've ever noticed a difference either way.

We keep a box of sea foam here for all our seasonal or occasional use engine fuel tanks. In my experience, its the best fuel stabilizer made. Used that stabile brand a few times and had poor luck. No more.

I tried Mechanic in a Bottle and Sea-foam on my 4 year old Sears riding mower this past summer trying to get the motor to run smooth, well it worked at first then went back into surging again and when I put the mower away this fall the motor was still surging, I'll take the carb off next spring for a cleaning and see if I can make it run worse.
