Tractor
Kubota MX5400 HST, heavy duty bucket, 3rd function, R1 tires (rears filled), 2 remotes
I was performing my 50 hr maintenance on my L3301 and noticed a wire with two ends hanging loose. I was under the "passenger" side of the tractor.

Anyone know where the two ends attach?

cann't tell from quality of pic and not sure if you mean 1 wire with 2 ends OR two indiv. wires ..... but if it is two wires (one Y and the other B/Y) then it is the 10a circuit for the optional work light. If you can get better pic. or can tell me how many indiv. wires and their colors I can look it up for you.

I lightened your photo.

It looks like a safety switch wire. HST pedal, clutch pedal perhaps

Is it a brake light switch. Our big tractors have to have brake lights if pulling a large trailer

In North America tractors do not have brake lights nor even brake light switches.

Often Kubota wiring diagrams will show the brake light switch but these diagrams are used world wide.

Thank you. Doesn't look serious but even if I fix it I see it being ripped apart again.

What is the other end of the device (with the wire(s)) connected to?

Not entirely true. I've driven North American market tractors that had brake lights, quite entertaining when using the brakes in the dark doing field work.

Also, 4 wheel braking is achieved on "brake light" models by engaging the front axle when both brake pedals are pushed.
