Yeah and thanks alot for another rabbit trail, you got me watching youtube butter making videos instead of firewood splitting videos.................

Haven't you split enough wood already, to know how to do it without watching yet another video?

It was quite a change this AM leaving Auburn with it's bare ground, then stopping by Wellington on my way home to try and find a deer for the freezer. Wellington is right next to Harmony... which reportedly had the highest snowfall yesterday. I didn't even get out of the truck, when I have to don snowshoes to hunt it's time to head for the barn.

I went out to my deer blind too, here's what I carry out to my spot,

And like every night, this is some of what I see,

And, "finally" a doe came out that I wanted, so...

That's my second deer, so I guess I'm done for this year...

BTW, this is tractor related, because I shot the deer in a food plot, that I used my tractor to make, and I used my loader tractor to lift the deer into the back of my PU! lol

Ah, but the thread is called "Tractors and Wood"!!! I'm going to report you to the off-topic police!

Nice deer, that will give you some good meals this winter.

I've made butter on and off, since I was a kid, using many different ways, but a blender works great and is easy...

Put cream in the blender along with a little milk and blend until the cream turns to butter.

Pour the excess liquid off and pour the rest in a bowl.

Run cold water in the bowl with the butter and work the water into the butter, to wash all the milk out of it.

Press the butter with a fork and it will "clump" and the water will be pressed out of it.

Put the butter in a mould, chill it, and now you have a bar of butter.

Can I do that with store bought cream and milk?

I make everything from jelly to hams, but I never tried butter.

Maybe he got some "wood" from having a successful hunt...

Yes, store bought cream will turn to butter, you only need enough milk so the blender will turn it all...

OHHHHH!!! :D

Or he can argue that he showed a wooden stock on his nice looking older shotgun.
