I believe Fred to be a bit on the edge. I totally understand his dislikes of his tractor. I'm not quite sure the Brand is the problem, probably could find that problem in other brands.

Same here. I bought a brand new L3240 and was completely disappointed with the performance. After about 6 months, I traded it in for an M7040 and loved that tractor.

I have an L3940 and a L2195a (front mount) blower. I'm not sure about 80', but it surely throws snow more than 20'. That's with a blower that's one size "too big", on a hilly driveway, and at whatever speed I want (chains rattle me like crazy over about 4mph).

I'm left confused by the disappointment.

Sure curious to see what Fred ends up with.

I never did any snowblower research as this was my first blower purchase, I bought in the Summer so testing was out of the question.

As a dealer it would be hard to allow a customer to "mess up the paint" on a brand new unit if they weren't serious about buying it. This means my research is word of mouth and forums I suppose.

I do have an old Cub Cadet garden tractor I bought to clear snow at another location I own, that thing will blow 80 feet no problem, in fact it's scary to use it around the village because it can throw snow that far. With that said I'll find one that shoots snow to my liking before writing the check.

As for the tractor I am considering a larger machine but won't be able to store it under an 8 foot door like I do now. I guess that would be a downside.

Kioti RX 6620 power shuttle cab is looking good.

Turfs work pretty good in the snow, more snow if they can bite down to pavement.

I think you must enjoy the hate.
It's been 6 years since you started this thread and you complaining since that time does nothing but make most of us wish you would just go away.
Your problem seems more dealer oriented than the tractor.
I love my Kubota!

Those deleted photos told the whole story but when Photobucket wanted money I bailed, and there went my pictures.

I believe the one in that post was when I buried it and needed the dozer winch to get it unstuck.

And yes I DO still hate my tractor.
