I don't understand the reason for posting links to people dying. Is it a thinly vailed attempt to cultivate trepidation for guns?

It is sad. It is not a gun problem, it is a stupid person problem. You do not clear a weapon by having it laying on the seat pointing at your daughter or anyone else and squeezing the trigger. Loaded or not it should not be pointing towards anyone.

My wife works for our local TV station and had to do a story on this. Hearing the details just blows my mind.
