Looking for alternate supplier for GC 2400 Tie Rod Endd

I have one that is on its last leg. Went to dealer and they want over $300 for both ends and rubbers. I am having an extremely hard time finding an aftermarket supplier for these. If all else fails, I will take them off and bring them to every tie rod end supplier in the county.
Can anyone help me out?

There are no known aftermarket parts for a GC.

You can only get a few filters outside of the OEM.

Shop around and compare model specs. IIRC I replaced my GC2400 tie rod end KIT with a lower priced 17XX model KIT. I emphasized KIT because buying by piece was more expensive. I no longer have the address of my supplier, but vaguely remember they were in Kansas.

I understand your pain. Replaced mine on an M9000 this spring. Pair were 350 bucks from the dealer. Flea Bay listing (after the fact), 60 bucks each.

Here is a list of tie rod ends by size. You might be able to find a suitable replacement.

Jacks Small Engines sells the GC17XX tie rod end kit (both joints) for $123 plus shipping each side. Not sure if they are the same as the GC2400 but you can cross reference the part numbers. My inner tie rod joints are have slop in them but it is still under warranty and the dealer is providing new parts. The brackets that hold the steering cylinder in place are wallered out and the cylinder is flopping around too.

Everything else on the little tractor has exceeded my expectations. The steering parts are kind of cheesy.

I need the rubber boot only-wonder what thats gonna cost. Im thinking this axle is a common one for alot of subcompacts. Try Iseki and alibaba?

If your boot is only torn and not destroyed I have repaired stuff like that with Shoe Goo or 3M 5200 Marine Sealant. The 3M stuff takes a long time to cure. Of course you have to clean ALL the grease off the torn edges with a good solvent.

Curious what AGCO will want for a new boot and I sure hope they don’t want you to buy a whole new tie rod end assembly to get one!

A Subaru justy tie rod end fits, but it's 7/16" too long and must be cut. I did it with a cutting wheel in my angle grinder. MF dealer $290+, ebay with tax, 2 for $19.26.
