KUBOTA BX2813 RUBBER EDGE TORQUE

I'm installing this on my BX2812-60 blade, the install manual indicates 150ftlbs torque. At that setting the rubber is distorting at the bottom edge & squishing out of the steel retainer bar. I'm finding 50ftlbs seems to work (by my eye anyway) solid mount & no squishing or distortion. Do any of you folks have any experience with this attachment?

150 ft/lbs seems excessive to me. Assuming the edge has slotted holes and the edge doesn't come out of adjustment, I would try it out at the 50 ft/lbs you have now.

I'm beginning to realize that the Kubota install manual torque specs are general for type of bolt (in this case 5/8" Grade 5 NC) & not specific to this attachment even though it states they are to be used for the rubber edge. Heavy wet snow this morning--we'll see how it goes, thanks for your reply.
