I saw a clearer version of that on TV and I think she was kicked in the lower back, anyway, her face broke her fall and her return to her friends was certainly quicker than the exit.
Sneaking up behind a horse is never a good idea yet alone slapping it, horses don't like surprises (apart from a bucket of feed).

The only real exposure I've had to horses was watching The Lone Ranger, yet even I know that!

It is called a Confirmation Bias. They can hear different viewpoints but they are not listening to them. They only absorb what confirms the belief they already have. Way too common these days.

I guess I've just been wrong so often that I'm used to it.

As for watching fake news.. Yes technically if I saw it, I can't say I didn't watch it, but a TV was on in the Waiting room, of the Hospital, which I could hear, so looked up in time to catch the segment.

You would think approaching an animal more than 3x (and sometimes way more than that) your size, you might use some caution.

My 10kg dog doesn't like it either, he will spin around and have a snap.
