Yes, a great number...also a great number of those computers, both biz or personal, get hacked.

guess again clueless...the average social media website is more invasive than the average script kiddie...and FYI a typical unaltered Windows 10 systems voluntarily gives up more of a users personal information that might be on a computer than is of any value to a so called "hacker"...geeze...!

FYI...there is more spyware and tracking software build into Windows 10 than the average unprotected XP system will ever be exposed to...!

Just who do you think is doing all this supposed "hacking"?...what is the intended purpose?...what is the target? what's the value?

Don't even suggest that they (old, non updated) computers get taken over and are used for ransomware attacks etc...LoL...!

FYI...all things the same (prudence of user)...A brand new Windows 10 system with all the latest updates and patches etc...is NO more difficult to tunnel into than a legacy XP or WIN2K system...the Win 10 system is actually more vulnerable because of the number of open ports that can be exploited and compromised...

When it comes to the opposite and being able to lock down and protect a computer...A Win2K or XP machine can be made practically invulnerable without losing functionality...try it with a Win 10 machine and you have a brick...

Just because something is new does not make it better (regardless of what they have you believing)...

By scaring people with myths about old systems being so dangerous the believers become shills for software producers...They are being used much like the average social network user...they don't have a clue...!

I prefer IE11 over Edge. The problem is that Win 7 can only use IE11 and not Edge. Microsoft will support IE11 till 2025 but only for security issues. When Win 7 goes end of life compatibility issues will arise. Many websites are already not IE11 compatible. As browser based software quits becoming IE11 compatible, options may be limited for a Win 7 platform. Many of our healthcare programs at work that were IE11 compatible are moving away from it with new upgrades. Too many issues and takes too much programming time to make them compatible with all browser versions.

Wrong!. I use Firefox, but Edge works fine on My win7 computer!!.. oh, and Kaspersky total Security takes care of any vulnerabilities win 7 might have..

Nothing is bulletproof, but an updated/supported operating system is more secure than one that is not, unless you know how to secure [and keep secure] the one that's not. Many/most users do NOT know how to secure an outdated system, therefore benefit in updating theirs. Can we both agree there, or is that something you wanna argue about lol?

NO it's NOT...! geeze...!
If you're talking about what you call a hacker attacking a system this is simply not true...like I said...it's as easy today to "hack" into a Win10 system as it is a W2K system...even easier if you have the latest scripts...
