2tr13 cylinder liners in 2tr15?

Hi I have a yanmar ym1500 with a 2tr15 engine that has a bad cylinder, my buddy has a pair of liners and pistons from a very clean ym155d that has a 2tr13. Both tractors are basically the same other than the bore size. Any issues with swapping liners and pistons and doing a quick hone and new rings? Just looking to put this tractor together as quick and as cheap as possible.

I don't think it will work. The 1500 and 155 engine look similar but share almost no parts. Everything from the crank and block to the injection pump and head is different. I'm pretty sure you can't even attach the YM155 piston to the 1500 connecting rod or rods to the crank since they take different piston pins, bushings, and rod bearings. Im also pretty sure the 155 liners will not fit the 1500 block (different liner OD- I think).

Thank you Aaron! You replied while I was checking it. I have a Piston Pin Bushing of PPB 4160- 1500 and PPB 4060-155 so there's is a difference.

do you happen to have a decent used liner and piston for a 2tr15 that you could sell with no warranty? My front bore is near perfect condition and wanted to find a used bore that痴 at least decent.

Hi do you happen to have a used liner and piston? The front cylinder is in great shape with no rust, just need a used liner and piston for rear cylinder. I was going to run a quick hone and put some new rings in.
