About 1/2 the price of the FN. We will see how it holds up!
Purchased/ordered the Ruger 57 from my local gun dealer Saturday for $599 plus tax.Dealer stated he will have them in 4 weeks.Wait & see I guess. The FN is way overpriced for a plastic gun with a boutique round.
I've found the Ruger 57 at $599, but out of stock. The general price on gunbroker is about $800 which is WAY overpriced IMO.
Ruger is going after the FN business. May take time for the Ruger pricing to come down, but it will. For $600 and a good review, it may be something I'd consider for the boutique round.
Basically Ruger is telling FN we're going to eat your lunch. I could see it potentially happening.

Hopefully the winter will still stay as mild as it has been so far. Maybe I can get out to do some plinking when Ruger arrives.I will keep ya posted. The reality is $599 plus tax for a plastic gun is way better than $1,000 plus tax for what could be pretty much the same thing for a plastic pistol that shoots a boutique round.
I will sincerely be looking for a review from you when you get to shoot it. Being in Michigan, not certain how much January, February shootin is fun LOL
After looking at the gun, I'm actually interested in it. Personally, FN is overpriced because they play the "military market" to justify their sell price, only my opinion, and we know what they are like.
Picked the ruger 57 up yesterday ran 500 flawless rounds threw it.Will update this spring..About 1/2 the price of the FN. We will see how it holds up!
