Yea, I didn’t put anything on the rack when I did ribs and it was a pain to clean. Next time will give a shot of oil spray.
If you google it you will find both positions for cooking with olive oil and cooking with other oils. My guess is that it spends on who paid for the study. This link says it is fine.Suppose to be good for you, IF you don't cook it, the heating is what kills the "good for you" part.
I always rub a bit of olive oil in the bottom/sides of my power pressure cooker, before cooking meat in it.

A very light spritz, of PAM, does wonders.
Strange. I duplicated those ribs and after a little soaking - maybe a half hour - the rack and pan washed clean as easily as washing a dinner plate. I had filled water up to just touching the rack. What washed off was the same consistency as the cooked meat, tender, soft.Yea, I didn't put anything on the rack when I did ribs and it was a pain to clean. Next time will give a shot of oil spray.
I have used Pam,, but I make my own butter,A very light spritz, of PAM, does wonders.
I had the TV on this morning and someone was making Borscht with beef. The Instant Pot recipes I find are more of a two step process, meat for a long cycle then add veggies for a short cycle. Looks like that is what I am going to cook tonight.
Never have tried Borscht but I want to. Maybe after the dried pinto bean chili. I just hope I can find beets at the store.
