ALL: here's another picture that might help you see Cleo sitting in the tree. I also figured out how to use the private messaging for TBN so now i just need to work on my picture posting and finding threads that I find interesting or start a few. thanks for the help!!!!

When I first come on site I start at My Home. After I've viewed the threads I am interested in I go to "Today's Posts". There I scroll thru all the new thread posts since I was last there. If I see anything interesting I drop in. I never use the various forums.

OVER: this forum is set up pretty much like another forum I used for old tools, but thank you for the tips. I saw there is a thread on photos that i'll read and if I have any more questions i'll maybe send you a PM. :thumbsup:

Over: a friend of mine in Idaho has about 30 wild turkeys that stay pretty much on his big farm. they are so big I had no idea they could fly much less climb trees, but you caught one in a tree for evidence. yep I see him/her too.

I live in the city, but it feels like more with my little view out of the back of my house. today's pic and it's a winter wonderland, but snow should be gone by Friday.

I'll work on resizing my pics in PAINT AND maybe signing up for Imgur. or is there a better site to host our pics?

I had problems with photobucket as well. I had dozens of photos on a website that they locked up and demanded black money for. Later they released the photos so I downloaded as many as I could. They made it impossible to host your pics to other sites without paying. Very unscrupulous people.
Anyway, now I am a member of a forum with my own blog and it allows me to host pics to other sites.

I'll work on resizing my pics in PAINT

I resize all my photos that I post on line in Paint - very simple process.
Paint>Resize>Pixels
That will bring up the # of pixels for both the horizontal and vertical sides. Choose "1000" for the larger number and then "Save As" so you'll still have the original to work with in the future. Warning: Make sure that Paint saves the photo where you can find it again! But the above procedure will give you a small file that will still provide a good large photo in a posting.
