These frost photos are from a year ago:






We got a few days of humid, cloudy and calm conditions with the temperature just below freezing. The frost kept growing on the trees. It gives the forest a "3D" look sort of those Christmas cards that have raised images. The photos don't capture that. This was the best since the first one I saw in 2009. Here are a couple from 2009:

OVER: I remember you putting in your process to post large pictures to click on AA. I actually had your post #222 open with another page of TBN so I could follow your method. since I didn't know if that meant to turn it off or on and had no clue it would make the picture show up instead of text i guess I needed to get to that point to know that and that's when Syntax posted his post with his cool red circle on the AA. ALL good now and thanks again for helping me figure it out.

ALL: i love frozen waterfalls and actually love to ski or snowboard, but i'm really not a fan of cold weather and winter. pictures are sure interesting to see though.

some summer fun we have up here has the Blue Angels flying over Lake Washington during Seafair and while this might not be the best picture I did manage to get them in the clouds.

Pretty cool drivesitfar. In Chicago, our version of seafair is called the air & water show, on the shore of lake michigan downtown in the city.

xFax: are those sunset pictures really from 2004? pretty cool, but don't you get some every summer? got any tornado pics?

ALL: these turbines are popping up now quite a bit on the eastern half of our state (Washington) and there are a few places where you come up over a hill or around a turn and you feel like you are in a Star Wars movie.

Have you ever watched video's of the giant turbines when the brakes fail? :shocked:
