Hi everyone I am looking for a plastic mesh filter that sits inside the banjo connector at the bottom of my lift pump.
My filter has disintegrated.
The picture below is not mine...its just to show the type of filter I am looking for.

I have been told by my UK supplier, I have to order a new lift pump to get a new filter. At 85 GBP + tax, that is over $100 US. (Which is madness) .

Can anyone in this world wide community help me find a filter. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, you could just add a diesel inline filter or if you know the thread size Subaru OEM Turbo Banjo Bolt with Screen m12x1.25 is 18.00 usd

I spliced one of these in the lift pump suction line and removed that small nylon "strainer".

Take the part to a specialist diesel workshop and they probably have the part or order it.

You would be better off taking it out of the system & putting in a small inline strainer AND CLEANING OUT THE FUEL TANK..
If u were in the States, I'd send u a BB Filter.

Same here. Had a Mitsubishi dozer with a filter inside the lift pump...it clogged (tank probably had rust in it), I bought the OEM filter couple times (expensive), and finally just removed it, put the small small engine in-line filter in the suction side and never had another problem with it. Sometimes you just have to rig around a manufacture design to achieve a better result.
