For hauling motorcycles and ATVs both in my truck bed and on my trailer, I have a bunch of these straps, and really like them:

That boom cylinder is designed too long to start with,,
just cut off the bent portion, and weld a new end on the remaining straight part of the shaft,,,

If you extend the cylinder while welding, the heat will not damage the seals,,

I cut the rod with a Port-A-Band,, works well,, no need to even remove the cylinder from the machine!! :thumbsup:

DiggingIt, the bent cowling means the slew motor and engine are destroyed, and there is almost certainly major damage to the slew ring gear too. Plus boom damage. SCRAP.

If it flexed enough to break the track I’d hate to see the rest of it. Best case the chains were hooked to the track and ripped it off but in any case that machine is in bad shape. There’s probably a few good parts but that’s pretty much scrap.
