just curious how cold is it both during the day and night? was that 10 yards for each pour and is your pad 24x24 or ?? also nice to see dry ground.

The temps when we poured were at about 34 first in the morning, but by 10am (time of start of pour) they were up to about 45. Hit 60 at around 2, back to around 40 by 7pm. Similar temps for the second day. Went below freezing at night 4 days later.

The pad was indeed 24x24, 8+ yds per half.

This thread is basically the main one, but I did post in other ones also.

We are done with the framing and exterior already, he has been waiting for the special order garage door for 10 weeks now. The local installer messed up the paperwork and delayed the door delivery by over 4 weeks!

Electric has been completed and he is currently installing the insulation.

He works (well out of the house) from 06:00 to 18:00 M-F, so is limited on time. He has to choose between working a little on the garage or editing the videos.

I'm following the link and have watched all the build videos. Reminds me of when my dad and I added a 20x20 den on one of my homes 30 years ago. Thank goodness he knew more than I did! :cool2: It's great that the technology now allows you to keep all the memories on video. Enjoy this time with your son, I know he will.

Yes, I am enjoying it. Thanks, that is what this whole project is about... it is not supposed to be a tutorial, more about a project that a father and son are doing together, building lasting memories for my son and his children!
