Amazon.com: EPMAN 1/8'' BSPT Oil Pressure Sensor Tee to NPT Adapter Turbo Supply Feed Line Gauge: Automotive

try this for the tee. any cheapo mechanical oil pressure gauge kit will work for the gauge and cap tube. I got mine at Surplus Center

Thanks a bunch! I'm starting to figure this out and come up with a game plan. What pressure am I looking for overall during operation? 33-50psi? If my light is coming on, what am I looking for in terms of a pressure that indicates something seriously wrong?

Yes I think all of the links you sent will work. Keep in mind that the pressure test kits you linked are only installed temporarily. Meaning that once you confirm you don't have an actual oil pressure problem, you remove the pressure gauge and go back to just having a light. Doing so would make the tee that you installed extra and not doing anything. Whereas if you get an actual pressure gauge kit that is designed to be installed, then you'd have that always plus the idiot light to catch your attention if something happened while you were running. I think the Gauge kit I bought from Surplus Center and installed on mine cost less than $10.

I was wondering that. I want a kit that can stay installed and $10 sounds great. I don't think we have Surplus Center down here though.

Let us know what you find. Likely you have a bad sending unit. That’s an easy and inexpensive fix.

I will...Does the gauge you posted a link to still need the line that goes to the gauge or does it come with it?

It comes with a capillary tube but it is nylon. I upgraded mine to copper. I worry about that nylon getting up against something hot and melting. The copper capillary tubing is available off the shelf at most auto parts stores.
