I don't know. If you consider their vibrant economy and what they can get, they may be ahead of Canada, which is getting worse every day, in terms of STATUS. I saw, they have an ongoing TRADE FAIR, of 12 million square feet. You need to go outside and take a taxi many Kilometers to another part of it. That doesn't seem very third wordlish to me.

It would be very interesting to see some accurate study as for integrity and various countries/cultures. I mean integrity and honesty starts with oneself. Few have that ability to step away from and judge themselves without prejudice.

I find that many times CHEAP isn't worth it.

I find that many times I can buy exactly the same item for $10 or $50, the difference being ONLY the seller/store and/or label/sticker.

True and it really depends on whose measuring stick you use. I found long ago that I couldn't life up to others expectations without denying who I was inside. You have to know yourself and accept yourself including your shadow that you want to hide and deny exists. We all have dark thoughts, that doesn't make us bad people. It took a long time for me to figure that out.

True to an extent but sometimes cheaper products are fine for your needs and sometimes you need to spend the money and pay for quality. Harbor Freight is a good example, are their tools good? Probably not. Are they good enough? For most people and most situations they probably are.

I'm not talking about similar items that do the same basic job. I'm talking about EXACTLY the same item with a different label. We've all seen them, even if we don't recognize them right off. One I can think of is the engine in my X300. The only difference is a digit in the mo9del number. The Kawasaki generic part number is FHV491V while the JD branded part number is FH451V, or maybe the other way around.
