I came across this presentation about Dinosaur vertebra that were discovered in Missouri in the 1940's. Monster in the Hollow: The Story of Missouri's Ozark Dinosaurs - YouTube
Being a lover of backbones, I had to quit watching because It was honestly, making me hungry. I remembered the Missouri Roll Call and thought some of you guys might be interested.

Thanks for posting this.

It prompted me to go out early this morning and get some country styled ribs for later. I hope to finish watching after the ribs are cooked. The first part was interesting and got me thinking, I don't know whether dinosaur bones have ever been found on SC or not.

I had sorta forgotten about that. I think Rural Missouri may have done an article on that place a few years ago. Rural Missouri | Devoted to the rural way of life or somewhere I read about it.
By the way, the Rural Missouri has interesting articles and is archived back to 2001. Coop members or employees are mailed a paper version but anyone can view online.

Very interesting, thanks for posting this. I have never found any dino bones around here, but sure have seen a lot of trilobites and similar water creature fossils.

Caver,
I'd noticed your avatar but didn't realize where you live. When I think of your state Injun Joe's cave sometimes comes to mind.

That was actually a dark float ride at 6 Flags St Louis many many years ago. Back in the late 90's I was underground cave exploring every weekend.

We used to go to Six Flags over Georgia until they killed off the one about the Okefenokee Swamp. It was probably a kid's ride but I liked it so I crossed them off my list.
The little man with the headlight seems perfect for your hobby.
