Hey for those of you with wheel spacers on GC17xx or 2400's, how big did you go with them? I understand if you go too wide, they'll interfere with the mower deck. Also, where did you get them and how much you pay? I know Bro-tek has some for our tractors.

I just purchased a set of Bro-tek 3 inch spacers (have not received then yet-still in shipping) for my 1715, but will probably never use MMM....

Bro-tek states on their site the 2 inch is probably max so wheels do not contact MMM guide wheels...

Cool, thanks guys! And the fella in the link has my same deck, so that confirms the 2" spacer being ok, nice.

Hey DL, are you putting them on the fronts as well, or only rear? The guy in the linked thread says no need for putting them up front. What do you think?

Can you guys think of any negatives to having them, like creating a weak point at the rear axle coz the wheels are so far out? I think not, but whatever, just wondering.

I am only going rear only at this time.... Waiting to see how much increased stability is... May consider fronts later...

I got a set last year, haven’t got around to installing them yet. Only negative I can think of is there will be slightly more load on the rear wheel bearings. They may last 49 years instead of 50.

Ha, well I'll be in my mid 90s by then, I suppose wheel bearings will be the last thing on my mind if I make it that far (which I'm trying hard not to). :D

I like that guy's channel, I sub to it. He had fairly consistent results with the 3 tries, though I dunno how entirely relatable pulling on the rops is to a rollover. Good video, though. He rolled his tractor before, btw.

Didn't watch the video, but yes I noticed that he has that video up...
