Thanks for the update. I am still thinking 2" spacers for my work, but knowing the 3" seem to fit on yours is nice.

Just an fyi. I installed 3 inch spacers from brotek recently and can confirm they work on my setup with a 60 inch deck. It's tight but they do work. I mowed for an hour and kept a very close eye on the clearance for about an hour and never had an issue with rubbing. I'm using turf tires - not sure if they're narrower than others.

Good to know man, thanks!

After having 3 inch spacers on for a month or so, and navigating various hilly areas on property, I can safely say the 1715 seems a lot more stable in situations that earlier caused "butt pucker"....

100% agree

So, is a set of 3" spacers 3" on each side, or a total of 3", 1.5" on each side? My property has a lot of surfaces that are far from level. I wouldn't min some more stability and I don't plan of running a MMM.

3" per side, Steve.

Can any of you tell me if the bolt pattern is 5x5.5? I found a set locally for $20, but I can't remember if that is the right lug pattern.

5x4.5 5 lug are the ones I used for my GC1720

I am only going rear only at this time.... Waiting to see how much increased stability is... May consider fronts later...

Dale

Several posts on this elsewhere -- spacers in front have no effect because the front axle pivots in the middle. I do not think there are any negatives to using rear spacers BUT I am not a backhoe user (which exerts different forces) and someone mentioned the rear axle housing may be cast aluminium... If I were a backhoe user I'd wonder about warrantees , etc.
