Friends of ours love cruises but always come back with some sort of wog, we cruise on our own yacht which is a completely different proposition although I have to endure some horrible meals when it is rough.
I cannot see the attraction of spending weeks looking at ocean at great expense, I also apply this to rail journeys across Australia, 3-4 days of wine sleep and boredom, look love, a tree.....
The Chinese are now playing the racist card here because we won't let them (or anyone else) from infected areas in.
