We had 2 days or rain with my 6 inch rain gauge overflowing. Some people are reporting over 7 inches of rain.

When I closed the chicken coops last night, I heard an odd sound, so I stopped and listened closely, and realized it was a tree falling over. I'll go look for it this weekend when it's less muddy out.

Over 3 inches of rain in a day !

I can’t even imagine that. If we have ONE inch overnight the creek overflows and the entire farm is covered with a couple feet of water.

Monday morning to Tuesday morning was 1 3/4 inches. We left the water in the gauge because another inch was predicted, but when we woke up Wednesday morning, the 6 inch gauge was full and overflowing.

My small pond was probably a foot low, but my big pond was still 3 feet down. Here is a happy picture of my big pond overflowing the dam.

Terry, I just looked it up and you only get about 23in of rain per year. We get 50in here and not that far away!

Must be climate change. I’m certain we learned in school it was 27 inches annually.

All that hot air about climate change is evaporating your rainfall. :D

Last night when I went out to check the wood stove and temperature was -8 degtrees F, I heard a loud snap/crack. But no tree crashing. I assume it was the moisture in a tree cracking. Jon

I was able to finish installing the lift, tried it out with the Corolla, need to see how the room is around it with the truck.

Pickup up another peice of equipment for the shop Tuesday, needs a little TLC but seems to run pretty good. Now I need to clean up my old 16in Walker Turner and put it up for sale.20200218_091552~2.jpeg

Also managed to pick up 3 of these cabinets for storage on my way back from picking up the bandsaw. They are 72x36x24, I already had a 18in deep version so should have plenty of storage now.20200218_182838.jpeg
