He should be "out of gas" by Feb 14th. That's the end of the Medicare advantage "change your mind" period. I am looking forward to it.

Does anybody else have to deal with the continuous sales at "The Furniture Superstore" with the 2 sloppy dressed guys yelling "Don't miss it!!"? They have had a new sale every week for the last 2 years.

This is why you need to treat yourself to a DVR. We record ALL of our shows, news, sitcoms, and sporting events on a timer and we can skip all the BS advertising. Not to mention missing the commercials, we can watch TV shows in 45min instead of an hour. I got better things to do than to be sitting listening to sales pitches. I can sneak off to my shop for extra me time and the wife doesn't notice... okay maybe she does but she ain't complaining.

I wore out the 'mute' button on my last remote. But SWMBO has developed a bad case of Tennitius and it drives her nuts to go from listening to the TV to dead silence when I hit the mute button... so unfortunately that is no longer an option for me. Guess it is time to research some sort of DVR.

Grosses me out when they show the cutaway of the wax blob washing out of the ear.
