WICKED Grapple Rake for SMALL Tractors

Have two questions about the EA grapples. I just saw a video that reviewed the wicked 55. The guy had an issue with the two top horizontal hoses wearing were they come out of the C channel to cylinders. Does anyone else have this issue and if so what is the solution. My other question is what grapple would you recommend for a Kubota L3400 with LA463 FEL. The EA site recommends the Compact Tractor Root Grapple 1RGCMP, but at 455lbs I think this maybe to heavy. I'm thinking the wicked 55 at 240lbs. But it doesn't come up as one of their "recommended for this tractor". I'll be using it to move brush and fallen trees, oak and pine 12+ in diameter.

I saw the video, but we haven't experienced one failure in that area that I'm aware of. Pretty sure we shortened those hoses since the video was made, but the hoses have a protective rubber coating, then stainless steel braids and then the hose which carries the fluid is on the inside. I've been whittling on one with a serrated knife for a while and it would still hold pressure. They're tough!

The recommendations by tractor hasn't been updated in a while on the website, but I'll be glad to assist you here, or on the phone, anytime! The most popular model for an L3400, if you want to absolutely maximize your tractor's ability, is the 239 pound Wicked 55. It has been our most popular and shown off grapple for years!

I was able to ride up to their shop today and the quality of their product is immediately noticeable. Travis took me out into the shop and out in the yard and I am still on the fence about which one to get. I can say that I doubt anyone will tear up that wicked 55. I looked at their 50" grapple and I doubt that I could tear that up unless I was trying to and even then I'd be surprised. Those teeth are much thicker than they look in the videos.

Has anyone put a Wicked 60 on a Kubota 3301. Did you loose much lifting ability. Did you wish you had gotten the 55Conversely, has anyone put a Wicked 55 on one and wish they had gotten the 60.
