I spotted this pin on BX Wicked Grapple getting ready for shipping this morning. They're usually orange, the customer wanted it painted black!

I actually love the look of black loader attachments! If/when I find the funds to order a grapple for my Deere I would want black!

I agree. I think the color contrast really sets it off. Good luck finding the funds, man!

Have you done any In Kubota grey?

I like the all black even having black cylinders makes it look sharp. Plus it goes with any color tractor.

Nah, but I think black looks quite sharp! Get it muddy and you can barely tell the difference.

Hard to argue with that but if I can ever justify a grapple that would be my special request. Goes with the ROPS, three point linkage. Jeez seems like a fashion channel now.

Good Morning Everyone,
First time poster here and I found this site while looking up information on grapples. I have recently purchased a new Kubota 3901 HST and am expecting delivery early next week. My goal is to clear a couple of acres that is 90% pine trees with a few hardwoods mixed in. A grapple was one of the items I had originally purchased but canceled almost immediately when I realized it was not an EA grapple. I am torn between size and type of grapple and could use some advice. I want to be able to move brush and logs, load logs, pop the stumps that I can, and get as many roots out as I can. I "THINK" I want the 54" wicked root grapple with dual lids but not sure the dual lids are worth the weight so should I get the single lid? The Wicked 55 Root Rake grapple has also got me thinking on whether I need the longer bottom tines or would I be better off with the shorter tines? Any advice is much appreciated

Brad
