Have been looking through a bunch of past posts from years back and people talk about paying $2-300 for a grill guard assembly for a NH TC/ case D. I’ve checked all dealers around me and price I’m getting is $1600-1800. Does anyone have a link to a grill guard for a good price?

Those $200 / $300 prices are long gone.... If you find a stocking dealer the price will be steep... if it is not IMHO... You have a couple of options... (but have a grill guard is worth it... would not run our TC40D without one)

You could make your own as deerhunterf350 did: https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/87157-home-made-brushguard.html

or if that is not in your wheelhouse I would check with a couple of tractor salvage places & negotiate a price on one... most of them will need to be sanded or blasted & primed / painted but I would think you could negotiate a fair deal....

With a quick search I would make a call on a few of these:

Yes I can build one , but for a few hundred I’d buy one. For $1600 I’ll build. Lol

Thank you for the link, I will see if I can snag a used one for cheap.

I emailed the three places suggested along with a handful of others, no luck on a used one. I did get one reply that they have a NIB kit for $400:) They are sending me part numbers and pictures today. Hopefully it works out and is what I need. Thank you for the help.

When I bought my 41HP tractor, I noticed a take-off grill guard laying behind the dealers building,,
I asked the salesman about it,, he said I could have it if I wanted it ,, for free,,, BUT, it was off a 85HP tractor,,

A couple easy DIY spacer/adapters,, and the free grill guard was on the tractor,,,

That is even the original paint,, some day,, I will paint the spacers,,, LOL!!

Maybe you could look for something used, and adapt it??

I wish it was that easy. If I had clearance I could easily make one, but the loader is so close to the grill the guard has to be tight to grill and must hinge for engine access.

I like it. Can’t decide if I want to add expanded metal or not.

Something isn't right. Just right now I went to the Kubota web site and did the "build out" on a new Kubota M6060. To have the dealer install an OEM grill guard - - $237.

I would seriously check with an alternate Case dealer for price OR check to see if a Kubota grill guard could be modified to fit your Case.

In 2009 - adding an OEM grill guard to my M6040 was $125.

This is how I've had my grill guard modified.
