Something isn't right. Just right now I went to the Kubota web site and did the "build out" on a new Kubota M6060. To have the dealer install an OEM grill guard - - $237.

I would seriously check with an alternate Case dealer for price OR check to see if a Kubota grill guard could be modified to fit your Case.

In 2009 - adding an OEM grill guard to my M6040 was $125.

This is how I've had my grill guard modified.

I checked with 4 local dealers. All of them had about the same price of $1600 for the complete kit. It sucks but that’s just what the price is.

I'm pretty sure Wilkinsonlevi is all set.... see post #8 I believe that is his Case DX40 in the pic with the new grill guard on it... It is an expensive brush guard...

The first link is for a guard without loader, and will not work with a loader. There is not very much room between loader and hood/grill.

yes, crazy expensive. Luckily I found one for $400 that was NOS from a dealer sellout.

That's what happens when models change and parts are discontinued. On my DX55, I couldn't find a 3rd valve kit. My good dealer searched all over the country, looking at other dealers inventory, and when he thought he found one a couple times the other dealers' inventories were off and they didn't have any left. The price was sickening but I was willing to pay it if he could find one. Then while talking to him, I mistakenly gave him an old original part number (which was superseded several times), and he had the good idea to look for that. He found one kit, in Canada, and had it shipped in. Best part of this was that it was still priced at the old original price in the systems since it was obsolete and superseded, so I got a "deal".

I like it. Can稚 decide if I want to add expanded metal or not.

I've got this same style on my DX55, and have contemplated adding mesh several times. I like the clean and simple looks of it as is, and I still haven't added it after 13 years so I probably won't.

I had a tough time finding one for my tc40d so I built one. It isn’t hinged I have one pin I have to pull and lift it off but I’m happy with it and the price was right. IMG_2494.JPG

My grill guard, made by a local fab shop (the same guy who made my limb risers and belly pan). I use my tractor a LOT in the woods, and beat up the grill a lot: when using the forestry grapple, it's all too easy for a stray branch to poke through. Fortunately, I've never damaged a battery or the radiator, but I've come close (the battery case has a number of dings and scratches.

The fabricator made it to bolt between the factory "bumper" (if you can call it that), and the front part of the frame for my Woods 1012 loader. The round rods on the lower half welded up on a frame he designed. He also designed a small frame with the expanded metal to fit inside the existing sort of trapezoid shape on the loader frame. Both are bolt-on. I decided against pin-on, since I did not want to put up with the rattling that often brings.
