I just wanted a bite to eat for the ride home.
The clerk was hacking and coughing, and commented about the popcorn she had just eating. The next thing that I knew she was shoving her fingers into her mouth apparently trying to get a kernel free... then she went back to running the register with that same slimy hand. I looked at the jelly beans in my hand and suddenly remembered that I'm supposed to be cutting back in snacks so I put them back. I realize there are probably a lot of things which happened to that package that I don't want to know about; but seeing her do that was a bit much.

I used to get really bad colds at least once a year; would lose my voice even. Since I retired, I think I only have had one minor cold.

I was in a popular donut shop a few years ago and ordered a bacon/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich. The lady placed the bacon on the sandwich, then licked her fingers and finished making the sandwich. When she rang it up I was walking out the door.

Nothing like watching people cut up deserts for a pot luck. Cut through a cake, wipe frosting off with a finger, then lick fingers. Then use cutter on the next cake and repeat the process. Gross. Time to be a hermit.
