Was at a corner fast food place and watched the guy stuffing fries with his bare hands and making burgers barehanded.
Wieners are handled bare handed!
He'd also use his bare fingers to add tomato slices and whatnot.
That same place also fries fish in the fries oil so the fries taste fishy.
Also a burger often had a putrid grease flavor suggesting they rarely cleaned the grill.

Place is really a dump and I refuse to eat there anymore.

Naturally no hairnets are used as well.
As to plastic gloves have never seen any.
My belief is the food inspector must be on the take.

Yuck!

Who cares if you are offended...
Agreed, except for #4, and #5 there are many problems with those 2!..

Hearing these stories makes me want to use a my credit card more instead of handling cash.

I'm old enough that I sometimes automatically try to hand my credit card to the cashier to run it, and then they point at the card scanner machine and tell me to do it yourself.

I use to get a bit peeved about this loss of service (sort of like the trend for self-check out), but now I'm thinking it's a good thing nobody touches my card!
Especially with Coronavirus bearing down.

A few years back, I was at the Atlanta airport, went to a coffee shop there. The girl behind the counter, she either hated her job, or people, or just white people, I dunno whatever her problem was, but her attitude just sucked big time. So I order a coffee and asked for a cookie that was in the glass display thing they have their food in. She gave me the biggest b*tchface, stormed off into the back room, comes back smirking with a cookie that I just knew she spit on or rubbed into her privates or underarms, whatever the **** she did with it. I was like, naw I'm good. BYEEEEEEE!

Send me your card and I'll try it out down here in the south.

My friend had a cashier call her to the register for assistance.

A customer's change was $11 and there were no tens in her drawer.

Wait until the total comes to $1.98, and someone hands her a $5.00 bill and 8 cents...

I guess I'm a bit unimpressed with the abilities of some of the clerks today, having spent several years in the grocery business back in the late 50's and early 60's. We had the old manual National cash registers; you had to calculate the tax mentally, memorize all of the specials, and count out the change.

Nowadays kids think dollar store 'cashier' is a job description not a job title.

If all they can do is push buttons they shouldn't wonder why when they're replaced with self-checkout.

It's common for managers to put up stock because "that's not my job."

I suppose Mom doesn't make them clean their room either.

A 'living wage' for that? Sure.
