There are two FPs. One's OK, kind of innocuous, not even sure why it's behind a wall. Walls don't serve much purpose after all.

But the other FP is more of a swap than board. Not really discussion, more muckraking, finger pointing, mud slinging. Loads of boards across the web for that kind of thing. There are a few 'members' that have gravitated there and rarely post on the main boards. When they do, they tend to carry their FP-ishness out with them, rarely providing anything useful to those in need.

So, is that FP even needed here?

And can we tear down the wall hiding the other less violent FP?

It's fine where it is... this is an international tractor (& rural lifestyle) site.

That's why it needs to go away. Doesn't really have a place here at all.

The Front Porch is one that can come out into the open.

What do you care if someone else is on FP? I was, then left for the exact reasons you stated, but... if the guys over there like wrestling in the mud, why not?

Friendly Politics...that's an oxymoron if there ever was one!

A place for all types and all types in their place.

I don't think the F stands for Friendly.

You know where the bad neighborhoods are. Why drive through them?

My advice to you is this... you signed up to get access to that forum. If the behavior in there upsets you, then sign out of it and don't go back.

When you see arguments/bad behavior pop up in the public forums, don't be like those guys and start arguing your points. Just report the posts so the moderators can deal with it. Responding only increases the chance that the threads will be closed or moved, because it becomes too much of a chore to prune out the bad actors.
