My younger brother is building a 55 sedan delivery.
And I have a '64 Malibu convertible SS 4spd I have about 7 years into and it may be done in 7 or 8 more.

On my list of things to do is my deceased Son's '79 Malibu. I'd definitely install a user friendly powertrain and chassis upgrade. I'd want to enjoy driving it.

There's an old gas station similar to that on main street of my little home town. It was a DX station. Two pillars. Two pumps.

Close; it's been repainted, and as near as I can tell, it's a '58 color, Cay Coral. It was originally Suntan Copper, which is close, but the new color is so right for the '60. On the '58, in the day, it was a very feminine color and most guys wouldn't have a car that color...although Buddy Holly was reputed to have a '58 in Cay Coral. It mad a gorgeous convertible!

Thanks. The reason I asked is when I was a small boy a car of that color would drive by on the street I was playing on. This was the late 50’s. That brings back a memory from way back!
