I can see it now, I come home back in the early 50's from a boy scouts meeting with a girl scout skirt on . . . . :laughing: my dad would have killed me and grandpa would have help.
My cousin is about 20 years younger than me. When he was 4-5 they lived in a neighborhood with about 12 girls his age. No boys. He told his mom all his friends had purses and he wanted a purse. So my aunt got him a purse. He was real proud of it and showed it to me. I asked him what he had in there. He pulled out 3-4 hot wheels and a gun. :laughing:
I went through a period like that; I was about 5 or 6, only girls for playmates. They didn't like my cars and airplanes, I didn't care for their dolls and tea sets. We did find one thing in common, though, and that was our natural curiosity about anatomy. Learned a lot that Summer; our parents weren't so pleased though...![]()
