There is no evidence to date...credible evidence anyway...nothing but wild speculative conspiracy theories...

I'd guess that every gov, private and institutional lab in the country/world with the capabilities is examining this virus for signs of engineering and to date there has been no findings of any reported...

I hope the deniers realize that we are well past the point where their positions had a chance of realization...They will never have an opportunity to say "I told you so"...the measures being taken by the powers that be have already more than proved themselves to be both prudent and effective...just look at the available data...If the deniers had a modicum of a clue to interpret the data they would simply sit down and shut the **** up...!

I recently put the most verbose and idiotic denier on ignore and still see his garbage when others quote him. I have wondered if he could win the Darwin Award, which is not Christian at all, but I do not suffer fools easily. May God forgive my judgmental nature.

I pray for everyone to have wisdom and strength to face what lies ahead.

In times of such great confusion and misinformation, I look for voices of reason and integrity. Here is a link to an excellent article about how scientist and NIH director Francis Collins sees the coronavirus crisis... Interview With Francis Collins of NIH - The Atlantic

The article also discusses Collins' strong faith and his journey to be the highly regarded scientist he is. I will add that he is from my hometown, I know him personally, and can attest to his integrity and faith... And to his musical ability. He doesn't own a tractor right now, but he was raised on a farm and knows his way around machinery.

Collins doesn't offer the assurances we would all like about this virus, but he does discuss some positive paths forward.

None that I know of except past practice of dictatorial regimes. Good example is ****** and the extermination of the Jews and mass sterilization under the guise of a Super Race. Look at the whole picture and decide for yourself. I presume you have the smarts to do that, least I hope you do.............

People in 'civilized' countries tend to forget what China is, a dictatorship. XI decides and you submit. How it works.

Bottom line in all this of course is... Some of us will be here next year this time and some won't and while the selection is out of your hands ultimately, you can 'increase your odds' by following the simple steps outlined by the President and the CDC, or you can wing it. Your choice, not mine. I know what I'm doing, but what you do is entirely up to you. You are the 'Captain of your own ship'. I prefer to stay afloat as long as possible. For all of you, decide and go for it.

Having posted that, if it goes bad, please don't whine about it. Just go off somewhere and die. I won't miss your stupidity at all.

I plan on hanging around for a while yet, God willing.

I go to my roofing supplier to place an order for metal this past Monday. All fine, business as normal.

Order arrives yesterday, so I go this morning to pick it up. Big sign on door says 'STAY OUT!!!!! We's a'feard of the big bad bug ... Call us from your car and we'll send someone out.

Screw that, I park and walk into the warehouse (which is wide open) to flag someone down who pulls my order and loads it for me.


One of my local banks sends out an email 'STAY OUT!!!! We's a'feard of the big bad bug!!! Call us for an appointment if you can't do your business from the drive up!!'

I don't even own a cell phone, I'm old school. I do own a SAT phone however and they are pay by the second on air time but they work anywhere.
