For me, this is a perfect picture. The background is awesome. What a great view. Then I get to the little things. Are your electrical poles cement? Is that the electrical service line coming onto your property?

Thank you very much for the pictures!!!

I like it! Yes, the poles are concrete, replacements for the original wooden ones over 20 years ago I think (before our time here). That service line (380V 3 phase) runs across our property, serving us as it goes. Changed from the previous 4 lines (3 plus earth) to a single cable last year. Lot fewer outtages since they did that work in the area.

Great family picture!!!

Yes! I don't have a pic, but my son (7) is driving well, although from my lap, as he can't reach the pedals properly yet - give it another year!

The first time I saw concrete poles used commonly was in South Korea in the early 80s.

The advancements in electrical services have improved dramatically here as well. My Electrical Cooperative encourages phone calls if service goes out. I'm on a dead end line. Month or so we had a small ice storm. My power went off. I waited about 15 minutes and then called. While I was on the phone with the lady my power came back on. We both got a laugh out of it. She repeatedly said to call as soon as it goes off. I always hate to bother anyone. We rarely have power outages.
