Meant to ask, it's 1:43 p.m. here. What time is it there?

My water heater is set on 110F.
Well we use a heat store system set to mid tank 58C, as it also supplies domestic hot water. But it goes through a 4way valve to the hydronic @ 35C. We have 9 zones which started off having quite different temp regimes. But gradually they’ve got closer to each other, which seems to be better.

It’s 19.48 now
Andrew

I figured you were farther ahead of us than that. I'll have to look you up on a map. :)

I don't have zones in my house or shop. One thermostat located in the center of the house. Floor temps are a bit higher closer to the heater. Cooler toward the outer walls. Only noticeable in the room farthest from the heater.

We use a separate Propane Tankless heater for Domestic Hot Water in the house.

Were your forests depleted during WWII?

I've been to South Korea a dozen times. They had no forests after WWII. Japan took it all.

We don't have Wolves or Lynx but we have Coyotes and Bobcats. Similar, just smaller. You see Coyotes once in awhile. Hardly ever see Bobcats, just lots of footprints. :)

I知 not too sure about the effects of the war here. Unlike in the UK (where I知 from) and the US I think, they don稚 really talk much about it. Except for the latter stages when there was the Slovak uprising. But looking at the sizes of most of the timber around, there痴 very little over 60 or so years old.

A friend just across from us saw lynx tracks this winter in woods about a mile or so from here. He also had a bad bear attack on his hives last year. An electric fence solved the problem!

Sorry all, the system does not like apostrophes!

I think WWII was very brutal for most European countries. I think they got swallowed by the War Machine. Not pretty. Of course any resources they had were taken. The U.S. has never suffered thru something like that.

I have large Oak trees on my farm that I'd estimate at 150 years old. Hard to tell without harvesting one for the purpose of counting and I wouldn't do that.

I don't have any dangerous wildlife here. South of me 50 miles there are Rattlesnakes and Copperhead snakes. Largest wildlife is White Tail Deer which are harmless. Next would be Coyotes which are also harmless. Then Bobcats, harmless.

We are in Zdiar, only 7 miles from Poland. We are actually separated geographically from the rest if Slovakia by the Tatra mountains.

We do not have a gas supply. The supply is only 400m away, but that is 6 different land owners to persuade. No chance!

I don't have a Natural Gas Supply Line available. I buy Propane and store it in a 500 gallon tank. Delivery truck resupplies.
