I asked my wife who also operates the tractor what if the engine suddenly stops and won't immediately restart Said she would leave it and call for help. I then showed her this thread and her words were " he's an idiot"

Can't tell if that's a compliment towards your wife or a dig at the OP. I have heard many old timers say things like "even my wife has more sense" when chewing out somebody else, and it's sort of an inside joke between me and my wife.

The OP; I wanted to ask the forum members if they have an opinion about the appropriateness of Kubota telling me they will not cover it as a warranty item
Do you think our response fell short?

Well, the OP asked for our opinion on this case so it could possible evolve to a Kubota bashing party, as 4570Man said, but it kinda backfired at the OP instead.
I still find interesting/funny, that the only post he quoted was about the only post agreeing that Kubota should warranty it.
The tractor had some serious issues before, the OP insisted in ignoring the signs and ran till it couldn't. There isn't much that Kubota can do now in my opinion.
I don't think TBN is at fault. We just gave our honest opinion based on the info we got.
