Got another home delivery from Costco today. More baking stuff for my wife. Again had them drop it on porch, and I wiped it down with wipe before bringing in.

Son came this weekend to pick up more stuff. Wife sent plenty of food with him.

Sister said BIL little better today, but still has fever.

At work, our chemistry dept made a few gallons of ethanol cleaner solution. They put it in generic spray bottles and passed it around.

Rich, thanks for the racing link. Been watching some older races online. To be honest, I'm glad for the other brands to be in American Flat track. Even though Indian is running a Polaris motor designed in Europe...

Prayers for all.

Good evening all. 46F this morning, partly cloudy, and light breeze. Light wind day, sky mostly clear, and high temp 71F. Did not find chapel stream on FB until it was over, but was able to find last weeks and watch it. Made wife's breakfast, and mowed most of yard, it needed it. Grilled brats in Weber grill, lik the mesquite flavored charcoal. Have not had speed issues on internet, but lot of latency.
David, have fun with your taxes:)
Kyle quality time with your daughter, nice pics
RNG, ah yes campus memories, I could walk to anywhere on campus in 10 minutes.
Drew somehow I think you are pulling my leg.
polarred21 welcome. :welcome:
Billy, need pics
Roy, have a rain day tomorrow.
Rich, so this was the machine the coworker gave the misinformation on. Made for a much worse day.
Randy you can figure that out :)
Rick nice set up and pics.
RNG sorry no LM41 usage here.

Good morning, will have to get on with some tree pruning today, the wind was far too high to risk going near them yesterday. We are liable for a hefty fine if caught pruning branches on farmland after March, although in this exceptional year, it is just possible the powers-that-be will find the agricultural equivalent of the Spanish Inquisition something useful to do instead.

So who is following every CV thread and who isn't interested ?
My wife will turn the tv off when the news comes on, while I can't resist reading the BBC news on my phone a couple of times a day to find out more. Then again, I can never keep a band-aid stuck down for long, always too tempting to have a peek underneath to see what is happening :)

   / Good morning!!!! #109,189
Good morning, the temp is 36°F and going to a high of 41. Wind S 8 mph. Showers.
The wind is going to swing around to the SE and get a tad breezy, 12 gusting to 25 mph. That will melt the snow.

As much as I like the snow, I also like to see it gone in March or early April.
A town run is in the cards for first thing...9:30 Should be back by 10:30 and I can maybe get onto the exhaust project.

Eric, I don't watch TV/telly and very seldom read the news on the 'puter. As for following the CV threads on TBN, I don't.

Have a safe day all, stay healthy

So where’s the new corona thread?

if the members of that thread can stop with their personal attacks, it may come back. Or maybe the moderators are just
plain tired of it. Personally I thought RS took the high ground here, in his own way. I sure don't consider everything I read here to be the gospel and
folks are searching hard for the truth. Better to put someone on ignore than ruin the thread. Baby keeps getting thrown out with the bathwater...

warm morning here, still cooling off from the heat wave of last few days, only 77 today in sun and clouds. My plan for the day is to make a run downtown, drugstore and supermarket, then back to spray fruit and nut orchards. Stay home order starts at 5pm today.
If the landscaper doesn't show up to weedeat my farm, I'm in big trouble. Sure is essential service to me.

53 outside this AM. Heading to 70's. Sun broke out late yesterday. Quickly assembled a garden plot and hopped on the mowers. Physically and mentally ran out of gas.
Need to find food today. Curb side pickups are two to six days out. Trying to plan out for another month. Looks like most stores are rationing items now too. Ugh.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe. 20200329_144402.jpeg

64 going to 75, more reasonable and seasonable than yesterday's mid-80s...even the crazy carpenter bees were complaining...but I must admit it felt nice to go out in the warm wind and watch the gorgeous red sunset.

Just finished a 30 minute grocery shopping trip - online. Tried WalMart grocery for the first time other than a dog toy and first aid kit order. They knew the things we usually buy there and "suggested" them, had all my info for fast checkout, and I snagged a 11am pick up slot tomorrow. They don't deliver way out here...can't even order a pizza for delivery. No TP, and out of several items I wanted, but overall a 5 star experience.

I tried to sign up for another local grocer pickup (Food Lion) last night but their server crashed at the confirmation step. I'll try again, and then Wegman's next.

Ron, beautiful blue bird pix. They've already started building nests in out boxes here. Glad BIL not CV.

Cleaned the mower and tractor yesterday, but ran out of time and so will lube tractor today.

Caught 3 mice and put on "Predator Butte" and they disappeared, but not sure whether "our" red tail or the foxes got them.

Kyle, sounds like you had a special family time last night.

Bear got bird feeder again.

 I had great success placing wind chimes at feeder keeping bear away last year.

Thomas I repaired feeder and now bringing it in at night

Great idea also thought about Halloween motion activated creature with glowing red eyes

NWS shows we have 62 degrees at 6 a.m. and that's also the forecast high for today. I had some doubts about the accuracy of that. But when I walked outside, it felt like about 62 to me. But the forecast also calls for a 100% chance of rain today. Since we've already gotten almost 9 inches this month, we really don't need anymore rain, but since we have to stay in anyway, I don't reckon it'll bother us.

Drinking second cup of coffee. 39° with light rain this morning. Heading to 43° with cloudy skies this morning. I remembered to check battery in car yesterday. 12.1 volts. Time to put charger on. Took about 3 hours for 2 amp charger to bring to 12.7. Winds and rain came in by 11am. Not going anyplace soon. Looks like 30 more days. Need to find something to do inside today.
Rescanned my TV's yesterday. New Channel. CIRCLE. Hee Haw and Opry programs. Fell asleep watching/listening to it last night. I will listen to anything that makes me feel good. :D
No burning allowed in Michigan. Part of the stay in place order.
Female Bluebird visited.

Riptides, nice garden.

Steppenwolfe, I think my Stanley thermos still has hot coffee in it from 10 years ago. Stays hot for a long time. :D

Randy, good there was lots of chicken to pass around.

Rick, I need a better dust collection system for my shop. Craftsman vacuum does not do as good a job. Table saw, metal cutoff saw and 14" wood bandsaw are on roller bases. Others are way to heavy for any kind of roller bases. 20 ton press is in a storage area that has lots of room around it. All my tractor attachments have some type of easy to roll around wheels on them.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 5:30 AM. Overcast. High 62F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph.
No rain in today's forecast, and the winds should help dry things out. Maybe I'll get some gravel spread today.

Another great bluebird shot, Ron. Keep 'em comin'!

Not much to be done about CoVid, except stay home and away from people. Don't need a TV talking head to tell you that.

Thanks for the WalMart tip, Wng. I'll see if it'll work on the one in town, as I really, really don't wanna go into a big germ box to shop for food.
Found an empty mouse trap in the garage yesterday, with the bait lever licked clean. Forgot to reset it, so thanks for the reminder.

Send some of that rain up here, Bird. We've only got half the rain and snow we should have by this time of year.

Spent most of yesterday fooling with the security cameras, trying to get one of them to post pics on the web. Only partly successful in that the camera also overlooks one of the hummer feeders, so it's a pretty view. But Weather Underground refuses to snag the image. Now waiting for their tech support to get back to me.

Made my first lentil dish for dinner, and it was very tasty. Just lentils in the Instant Pot for 9 minutes with a few spices, served over wild rice. I'll post the recipe here if anyone's interested...

Next Amazon order will have a large bottle of Bean-0 in it, though.:ashamed:

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!

Good Morning! Temp range 62 to 66 cloudy 85% chance of rain.
I was surprised this morning by an invitation to assist in a cedarcide. This will be at the County level and special covid19 precautions will be in effect.
