They haul like that all the time around here. No sweat. If any doubt on technique, ask an auction yard. Those guys load anything on anything in ways that don't seem possible.

Thank you Everyone. I learned a lot from your answers, especially with my mental block. I now have several viable options. I believe I can back it on my 102" gooseneck flatbed trailer. I can use vehicle dollies under the axle close to the inside of the tires if I need to. Once in position, I can set the axle on blocks, remove the tires/wheels if necessary, then chain it down very good. Then in reverse to unload.

I remeasured the Baler Tires:

Outside of Tires: 105.5" (8' 9.5")
Center to Center: 96" (8')
Inside of Tires: 85.5" (7' 1.5")

With that being your inside measurement, it will be easy. :)
The blocks will enable you to lock it down nice and tight.

Take a look at where the axle of the wheel attaches to the baler.
On some of them, the axle is just a round shaft that goes into a piece of pipe welded to the baler frame.
In that case, you just pull the retaining bolt out that holds the axle into the pipe and the whole wheel and axle come off completely.

Half a tire on the deck is enough. Bind it down & go.

Wheels on = 3.5" over legal width limit!
280 miles departing Ft. Worth area.
Maybe. The tip off is the very obvious 102" (legal) trailer width.
12:01AM AM could work.
I would take the wheels off, leave whatever time of day I wanted, relax and enjoy the ride.

I think he’s worried about going 280 miles over width.

Over width fines are salty. Definitely do this as night if you decide to roll the dice.
On edit: I agree. Nothing worse than a nerve racking drive

Point taken. But 280 miles over width is wide indeed!

The OP is in Fort Worth Texas, Texas has a number of exceptions to the transportation laws for Farmers. Most of the ones I know about are for perishible produce - i.e. if you're overweight (by ???) they have to let you continue on your way (probably a fine, but you don't lose the produce). I don't know if there are exceptions for hauling ag machinery, might want to look into that. But, as long as it's tied down well and looks like it's not going anywhere, I think you'll be ok even in the middle of the day.
