The hydraulic power on the 4260 and the B 2620 are both pretty weak.

Weak?

Hi
I’m the owner of a 3350hsdc cab that approached my dealer about downsizing due to my age and a couple of medical problems. He told me he wasn’t interested because of his past experience. I bought a take back with 50 or so hours.
After a couple of months and a minor operator error Kubota brought my unit into the shop and did a bunch of things. New sixty amp alternator, winter front, air intake, insulated the blower pipe, cpu reprogram and it has not had a problem in five years. I use it mainly for blowing and plowing snow. Regens every 15/16 hours like clock work.
I run it just a bit over 2000 rpms and don’t leave it idle for any length of time.
If you find one like mine (260hrs) for a decent price and it’s been updated you could have one **** of a deal. That turbo 33 horse is a powerhouse.

I wouldn't touch a B3350. That's not because I read it on the internet, it's because my dealer has been buried in servicing these things and there is no clear solution for making it right with upset customers.

Last week I came across a Messick's video of Neil Messick buying a B3350 for himself since the deal was so good.

Not sure what to think about that!

One factor to consider is that, as owner of a Kubota dealer, he can have any future problems addressed in his own shop at much lower cost than can most others, regardless of warranty coverage.

My dealer refused to sell them after the first couple debacles. That said a lot to me.

Yes weak.. Yes it was a 4060. I confused it with the 4240 we had prior. The loader on the 4060 was pathetic. I don't care what any specs say, when you cannot pick up a loaded bucket of gravel then yeah I think its fairly weak especially compared to some others in the same category.

I ask these questions because like most forums, the problems are heard and you don't hear from the rest in many cases. When we purchased the 4060 there were lots of regen issues as well as people didn't understand it and were idling way too much. Leave that idling like you would other farm tractors and the dpf filter would plug right up.

The parked regen hardly EVER worked on that as well... So we got used to running it harder. That's why I am asking people who are satisfied. Like I said I can deal with a 10 hour interval for regen if it can be worked at wot during that time. So I am used to those types of "issues" and wondering how comparable it may be in reality of my usage.

I do need to mow thats why this size machine is needed. I needed something in between the b2620 and the 4060.

My local dealer said they didn't have many issues after the updates. They said tippiness was more of an issue.

I appreciate everyone taking time to answer. Thank you.

Well with all the negative feedback you got on that tractor and all the issues it may have, if you want it.
You should be able to get a fairly good deal on it.

Its just hard to sort what is prevalent vs realistic. I know there are thousands of owners out there. Would an equally price TYM unit new be a better option or is a flawed bota still a better value. So far the threads I researched the same commenters are the ones on those threads too. I can go to a ford f250 thread that bag on the 6.0 yet have 10 that say heck, i got 250k out of mine so... Guess I was hoping to hear some owners say how much they were not effected by the trouble areas.

Thanks all.
